Ancient Greek and modern day philosophers
Socrates was an ancient Greek philosopher known for his question and answer method of teaching. He made many enemies because of his questionings.
I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think.
The city of Athens grew tired of Socrates' ways and trialed the man. the judge said he could be free as long as he stopped his ways. Socrates refused and was sentenced to death by drinking poison.
Ludwig Wittgenstein was an Austrian-British philosopher who worked in the philosophy of mathematics, the philosophy of mind, and the philosophy of language. he was said to be the 20th centuries greatest philosophers.
Ancient Greece has left many wonderful legacies for our modern day, philosophy has shaped how we live and what we choose to question.
