Storyboard Text

  • As a group we want to being our thriller with eerie establishing shots, this will emphasise the isolation of the location. We think this will be effectively shown by having one second shots. In addition the absence of sound will contribute to the seclusion.
  • The next shot we would like to include is a POV shot of Abbie's character opening her eyes and looking up towards the sky. This is also an opportunity for an extreme close up and use of a time lapse.
  • The transition to the next shot that could be used is a fade. This blackout will indicate a 1st flashback. This will be the first moment that the character is seen being held, for example: a blindfold being ripped off.
  • The 2nd flashback will further the captive's ordeal. Her character's heavy breathing will be enhanced. In addition it will show her crying and being injured in order to further the plot. This provides a opportunity for a close up of a single drop of blog.
  • The 3rd flashback will show the character struggling within her restraints. This will allow the audience to see the character's pain which can be furthered by the use of a silent scream.
  • In between the flashbacks we would like to include cutaways of the character in an isolated field location. This will emphasise her mental deterioration as she is remembering her capture but unable to return to safety.
