Storyboard Text

  • Hi, I'm blood! Right now, I'm in the capillaries but I am about to go to the superior and inferior vena cava.
  • Now, I am about to go to the right atrium until it contracts. After that, I must travel through the tricuspid valve to get to the right ventricle.
  • Now that I am in the right ventricle, it is going to contract. Now, I get to go through the pulmonary valve to get into the pulmonary arteries so I can make it into the lungs.
  • I've made it to the lungs so now I get to become oxygenated and I get to go back to the heart! To get back, I have to go through the pulmonary veins and go into the left atrium.
  • Ah, it's contracting! I have to get to the left ventricle! I must go through the bicuspid valve. Then after the left ventricle contracts, I must go through the aortic valve to get to the aorta.
  • Yay! After all that hard work I finally get to go to the rest of the body!
