Beowulf - Jordyn Pena Per 2
This storyboard does not have a description.
Grendel came out from the marsh, ready to kill anyone on his way up to high Herot. He snatched a Geat and ended its life furiously and immediately, cutting it to bits and drinking its blood.
When Grendel picked up Beowulf (Who's pretending to sleep), the bands have risen and began to attack Grendel. However, their stabs and points did nothing to Grendel.
Then, Beowulf had fought with Grendel. Grendel had instantly become weak and compared fighting Beowulf to God. He became angrier, but also weaker.
Beowulf broke Grendel's tendons, muscles, and bones. He finally defeated Grendel, in a rather menacing and alarming way, but he did it!
As Beowulf received praise and glory for his actions, Grendel attempted to escape. He fled to his den, the hole in the bottom of the marsh. However, he ended up dying there anyways.
After the fight the Danes were joyous. Beowulf, prince of the Geats, had eliminated the enemy! He hung up Grendel's arm from the ceiling.
