Hey! Do you know the Triangle Inequality Theorem?
Well, I'm going to explain what this awesome theorem consists of, pay attention!
Before we begin to explain this awesome theorem, we need to know our objectives for this lesson! It is known as lesson 5-5 The Triangle Inequality and our objectives are: 1. Use the Triangle Inequality Theorem to identify possible triangles. 2. Prove triangle relationships using Triangle Inequality Theorem
Now that we know our objectives, we need to review the vocabulary of this lesson: 1. The Triangle Inequality- While a triangle is formed by 3 segments, a special relationship must exist among the lengths of the segments in order for them to form a triangle. 2- Triangle Inequality Theorem- The sum of the length of any 2 sides of a triangle must be greater than the length of the third side.
