Flying To Beloit
My flight from San Francisco International Airport to Chicago International Airport was roughly 5 hours. Once I touched-down in Chicago I found the bus shuttle station towards the end of the airport. I placed my bags onto the bus and it took around 2 hours for me to finally arrive to the peaceful city of Beloit.
Stepping onto Beloit College for the first time it felt like home away from home. I was happy, excited, and ready for all the new experiences I was going to have.
College football was tough, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I felt blessed to be experiencing an opportunity many people will ever experience. I was finally playing College football! Through Beloit football I met one of my good friends. Nick and he is from Austria. Playing football taught me many things, one was time management.
When college students participate in collegiate sports it is very important that they keep up on assignments and due dates. Time management helps many students arrange their own schedules, so that they stay on tract with all their grades and responsibilities.
Beloit College houses a variety of different students. Students from all around the world. In my Fundamentals of Acting class I was able to really work with and get to know unique individuals. People that I probably would not have met outside of Beloit at other College or University.
Beloit's education is great. Students are able to have a close connection to their professors, connections big state schools wouldn't offer. In addition, there is a lot of writing at Beloit, but the time and effort spent of papers is beneficial. It turns the person into a better writer.
