- John would laugh at Raffles, calling him a "midget". On the other hand, Raffles would call John a "big chungus"

- One day, the situation got so out of hand, Raffles had pulled out an insult so bad, John got infuriated and started strangling Raffles! They became the center of attention, and everyone was chanting "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!" A teacher saw and broke up the fight.

- John and Raffles were caught and scolded by the principal.

- On the way back to class, John accidentally knocked into the infamous school bully Tim, who started beating him up. Luckily, as Raffles was walking by, he saw what was happening.
- Raffles ran to the Science Lab and reported the whole thing to his teacher to stop the fight immediately.
- The teacher apprehended Tim and John thanked raffles profusely. From that day, John and Raffles became friends.
