  • Romeo and Juliet Act 3
  • Act 3, Scene 1
  • "O, I am fortune's fool!"
  • Act 3, Scene 2
  • "Give me some aqua vitae. These griefs, these woes, these sorrows make me old."
  • During this act, Romeo and Juliet have many conflicts among their relationship. Romeo and Juliet need to find a way to have a long distance relationship.
  • Act 3, scene 3
  • "Now I have stained the childhood of our joy/ with blood removed but little from her own?"
  • Tybalt and Mercutio get in a fight, so Tybalt kills Mercutio. Romeo is trying to keep peace, but he can't help from killing Tybalt.
  • Act 3, scene 4
  • The nurse just finds out about Romeo killing Tybalt. She tells Juliet after a long time of Juliet thinking Romeo was dead.
  • Act 3, scene 5
  • "He shall not make me there a joyful bride"
  • Romeo is staying at Friar Lawrence's place while hiding from being banished. The nurse comes by in order for Romeo to make plans with Juliet.
  • Paris, capulet and Lady Capulet decide that Paris will marry Juliet. The wedding will be three days from then.
  • "O' Thursday, tell her, she will be married to this noble earl"
  • Juliet talks with Romeo in private. Then lady Capulet informs Juliet that she will be marrying Paris. Juliet is not happy to hear this news.
