  • The British were in a debt so they taxed the colonists and that started the Revolutionary War. 
  • The Colonists Protests. 
  • I'm losing the war so I am going to tax the colonists.
  • Great Idea King George
  • The Quartering Act. 
  • Were moving in. 
  • I Guess we have to.
  • The Stamp Act
  • You better pay tax for that paper
  • WHY!

  • The Boston Massacre.
  • Don't fire! 
  • In the quartering act the colonists were forced to let the British move into their home forcing the colonists to lose money.
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • Were Just after the tea
  • In the stamp act the colonists were charged for all of the paper the bought. The colonists hated it because they couldn't vote against it so they started to protest.   
  • The Intolerable Acts 
  • They Closed the Boston Harbor
  • The Boston Massacre was when the colonists were yelling at the redcoats and the captain said don't fire but one soldier fired into the crowd. 5 people died and 6 others were wounded.   
  • The Boston Tea Party was when the colonists where mad at the British for the tea act which made them have to buy tea from only one tea company. They started to protest by dressing up as Indians and dumping British tea into the Boston Harbor.  
  • The Intolerable Acts were when the British passed many acts that the colonists could not tolerate so they called them the intolerable acts. One of those acts is when the British closed the Boston Harbor and the colonists cold not get food.   
  • Closed
  • Now we can't get food.
