  • Stevie is in the Nationals locker room trying to get a story to write about the big game. Stevie can't get to the star players because there are reporters all over them. Stevie walks to the back of the locker room hoping a player gets away from the chaos so Stevie can talk to them. Next to Stevie is Norbert Doyle who is on the Nationals but never plays. Stevie can't remember who Doyle is. Although Doyle explains that his kids are big fans of Stevie.
  • Actually I did.
  • Did you find anything interesting?
  • Stevie gets a call from his partner Susan Carol and she has great news. Susan and Stevie are reporting at the World Series! Stevie can't believe he is going to the World Series.
  • What happened to Norbert Doyle's wife.
  • Stevie reads that Norbert Doyle is on the Nationals team roster for the World Series. Doyle told Stevie that his kids are big fans so Stevie thinks of a plan so he can talk to Doyle. Stevie will meet Doyle's kids if Doyle talks to him. Stevie can't wait to write about Norbert Doyle.

Stevie decides to do research on Doyle so he doesn't look like a fool when they interview him. Although Stevie finds out that Doyle's wife was killed in a car accident and Doyle might have something to do with it.
