Everything will be ok.
Good by Jim.
“ You missed,”Doug yelled. It was 10 below and the middle of December. The snow falling made it look like a winter wonderland. Doug was outside having a snowball fight with his friend Jim. But something was troubling Jim. Doug could tell because Jim's aim was off and he never missed. Also by the look on his face. “ Ok, what is wrong Jim?” Doug asked, “ you normally never miss.” “ Nothing lets just get back to the game ,” Jim replied. “ Fine,” Doug said. “ I will get to the bottom of this,” Doug thought. So Jim and Doug just kept playing but before they both went home Jim finally said what was bothering him. “ Hey Doug, I have some bad news that you need to know,” Jim said about to cry. “ What is it,” Doug said sounding worried because Jim rarely cries. “ I’m,” Jim said. “ Your what?” Doug asked. “ I’m…. I’m moving,” Jim finally got it out and started to cry. Doug said nothing and just ran home.
Doug slammed the front door and throw off his snow gear and ran to his room. His face as red as a tomado from being outside. His room looked like a tornado went thru it. Clothes scattered on the floor, and his desk had random things on it, but he didn’t care. He just went in his bed and started to cry. “ Sweetheart, what is wrong?” Doug’s mom said in her most calming voice. “ Nothing, just leave me alone,” Doug replied. “ Are you ok,” His mom answered again. “ I said leave me alone!” Doug yelled. “ Don’t yell at your mother!” Doug’s dad shouted from the other room. “ Please leave me alone,” Doug answered. “ Just tell me then I will leave,” his mom said. “ Fine, Jim is moving away,” Doug finally said. “ Everything will be ok. You know that right?” Doug’s mom replied. “ No it won't because my best friend is moving away!” Doug snapped.
6 Months later Birds chirped their beautiful song. It sounded like an orchestra was sitting in the trees. It was finally summer and the leafs on the trees were finally green. “ Hey Doug I have good news,” Jim yelled. “ Good news? How can their be good news,” Doug yelled. “ Would you let me finish!” Yelled Jim. “ No! You are moving away and now our lives are about to change and it will never be the same. You realize that right!” Doug screamed. “ LET ME FINISH,” Jim screamed. “ Fine,” Doug said. “ Thank you. As I was saying I’m only moving 3 miles away,” Jim said. “ I’m sorry I yelled. I’m Just mad that is all,” Doug said. “ It is ok, I understand” Jim said, “ I forgive you.” “On the bright side, you are not moving that far away,” Doug said sounding happy.
