  • Puck whispers"When thou wak'st, thou tak'st true delight in the sight of they former lady's eye"(Shakespeare 89).
  • Propels the Action by. . .
  • Lysander states"I came with Hermia hither: our intent was to be gone from Athens"(Shakespeare 101)
  • Outcome
  • Lysander says happily"And he did bid us follow to the temple"(Shakespeare 104).
  • In this scene Puck is putting a different spell on Lysander to turn him back to normal. Before he accidentally was given a spell that made him a fall in love with Helena. But now he shall return to loving Hermia.
  • Initial Dialouge or Event
  • Oberon argues"What hast thou done? Thou hast mistaken quite"(Shakespeare 69).
  • In this scene the Duke, Hippolyta, and Egeus discovers Helena, Demetrius, Hermia, and Lysander sleeping in the woods. Egeus becomes even angrier with Lysander for being with his daughter Hermia. But Demetrius admits he's in love with Helena not Hermia.
  • Propels the Action by. . .
  • Lysander yells"Hang off, thou cat, thou burr! Vile thing let LOOSE!"(Shakespeare 77)
  • In this scene Lysander and Hermia realize the Duke will let them be together and Egeus will have to deal with it. Lysander, Hermia, Helena , and Demetrius could all return to the palace peacefully and be with who they have chosen.
  • Outcome
  • Hermia accuses"You canker blossom! You thief of love! What have you come night, and stol'n my loves heart from him?
  • In this scene Oberon has become angry with Puck as he has put a spell on the wrong Athenian. This would cause Lysander to fall in love with Helena and lose his love with Hermia. He now has to find a way to turn Lysander back to normal.
  • In this scene Lysander is angry and shouting at Hermia of accusing him of loving her. Hermia has fell confused and feels sadness because of how cruel she is being treated by her love Lysander. He now has fell in love with Helena because of the love spell put on him.
  • In this scene Hermia is angry and feels betrayed by Helena because she feels she has stolen Lysander from her on purpose. Helena denies the fact she stole Lysander from Hermia and seems confused about the whole thing.
