Storyboard Text

  • It is the year 2053 A.D., and Leonard Mead is doing his favorite thing, walking for hours and miles across town
  • "What are you doing out?" - Police Car "Walking." - Mr. Mead "Walking!.. And you have a viewing screen in your house to see with?" - Police Car "No." - Mr. Mead "No!" - Police Car
  • Mr. Mead would stop and speak to houses as if they were real people, joking about the programs the brainwashed society are constantly watching.
  • "What's up tonight on Channel 4, Channel 7, and Channel 9?"
  • Right before reaching his home, Mr. Mead is stopped by the only police car in the city. Its light stuns him but draws him closer.
  • "Stand still. Stay where you are! Don't move!"
  • The police car begins asking a series of questions.
  • As he walks to the car, he notices there isn't a driver. He also sees a steel cell in the back. The car tells him he's going to the Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies.
  • "Get in." - Police Car "Wait a minute. I haven't done anything." - Mr. Mead "Get in." - Police Car
  • On their way, they eventually passed the only house in the entire city with its lights on.
  • No one answered him as the car drove off, away from the empty city streets.
  • "That's my house."
