Storyboard Text

  • No problem my darling we will just add it to the third estates taxes.
  • Honey, I want a really expensive hair due
  • With taxes up and now the government is raising the price of our only food supply how are we to survive.
  • Bread prices up
  • This is so unfair
  • The queen has one job and that is to make a male child and she can't even do that
  • Why are we still following them?
  • The queen liked to spend a lot of money and especially on her hair. But the prince didn't have a lot of money at the time so he just added more taxes to the third estate
  • We shall not leave until we get what we want!
  • YEAH!
  • Not only had the government raised the taxes on the third estate they also raised the price of bread which was only of the only food sources at the time
  • This churches land now belongs to the state and you are now going to have to be elected
  • Oh, my!
  • Many people had become restless because the one job that the queen had was to make a male err and she could not produce one.
  • Hey if you support the revolution dress like us instead of the stuck up guy
  • That's not nice
  • When the three estates met the third estate was kicked out so they all met at a tennis court outside of the palace because it was the only place big enough to hold them and that is where they decided that they would not leave until they received a new constitution
  • When the Assembly took over they took the churches land and sold it to pay off their large national debt. They also declared that church officials were to be elected and paid as state officials. This move lost many of the peasant's trust as the Catholic church was their church
  • After the revolution a group of men called the sans-culottes made a statment saying if you didnt dress like them then it met you did not support the revolution. Then people that didn't support the revolution were called Emigres and they were nobles who fled France during the revolution.
