There once lived a crow in a beautiful forest. Now, this crow was very greedy and he always kept an eye on what other animals were doing. He was liked by no one in the forest.
One day, this crow found a piece of meat on the ground near a lake. He picked it up and flew to the top of a tree. While he was sitting on a branch of a tree, he saw a Kasay Kasay (a small bird) pass by. She was carrying a dead rat and was flying very fast.
The Crow called her and said, “Kasay Kasay, where did you get this dead rat?” However, the small bird did not respond and kept flying. When the crow realized that she wasn’t paying attention to him, he was furious. He called out again, “Kasay Kasay, stop and give me a piece of that rat or I will follow you and take that whole thing for me!” Still, the small bird paid no attention to him.
I GIVE UP!!
The crow now was full of rage and greed. He was determined to have the rat by any means. He left the meat he was eating and chased after the small bird. Although she was only a small bird, Kasay Kasay could fly quicker than the Crow. This meant that the Crow could not catch her.
While the Crow was chasing the Kasay Kasay, a hawk passed by the tree where the Crow had left his meat. The hawk saw the meat and grabbed it by his claws and flew away.
Even though the Crow following the Kasay Kasay for a long time, he could not catch her. Eventually, he gave up and then returned to the tree where he had left his meat.
