Odysseu's men break into the cave, hoping to steal from the Cyclops. They try to leave, but Odysseus has everyone wait. Everyone else grows anxious.
The Cyclops returns to find crew members stealing his precious sheep and other foods. He asks them who they are. Out of anger from the attempted robbery, the Cyclops eats two crew members.
The men offer the cyclops many drinks. The Cyclops demands more and more drinks. After drinking excessively, the Cyclops enters a deep slumber.
Odysseu's men gather together and stab the Cyclops in the eye, blinding him. The cyclops wakes up and enters a fit of rage. He accidentally opens the cave.
With the boulder in front of the cave gone, the men vanish. The other Cyclopses ask if anything is wrong. However, they don't help.
The Cyclops hears Odysseus teasing him from the sea as they escape. He blindly chucks boulders out into the sea. He then prays to Poseidon to stop Odysseus.
