  • The old man's eye is like a vulture watching me very creepy!
  • Rising Action
  • Ok, my plan better work to make sure he doesn't notice I kill him.
  • Climax
  • I have waited a long time for this moment to come old man!
  • The reader meets the narrator and shows his sanity.  It also shows how the old man's pale eye bothers him so much while living with him.
  • Falling Action
  • The 7 nights in which the narrator is watching the old man and plotting to vehemently kill the man to get rid of the vulture eye.
  • Resolution
  • I DID IT I DID IT, I KILLED THE MAN!
  • AHHH!
  • One evening the old man woke up and screamed. The narrator crushed him with the mattress dersively to stop the heart beating.  With the narrator's sagacity he had killed the old man.
  • Their neighbor had heard screaming and called the police.  The narrator easily hearken to open the door while saying he screamed and the old man was out of town.
  • We will find where this noise is coming from.
  • At first, the police quickly supposition his reasoning but the narrator hears a ticking a believes it's the old man's heart and he then confesses to the police.
