  • Why didn't you tell me sooner?
  • Is it ever going to be the same between me and Florence?
  • Why are you so sad? You are a princess!
  • Elsie! I'm sorry! I thought you would be happy about all of this! You don't have to come live at the castle if you don't want, but at least stay in touch!
  • Why did Oliver have to come?
  • Elsie was furious and felt betrayed, not only by her parents but by Florence. She trused Florence but all of the trust melted away like ice on a hot day.
  • I would like to stay here and speak to Florence.
  • Yes. And Elsie, if you ever change your mind, you can come to the castle.
  • Oliver, could you pass the news onto the king and queen that Elsie will be staying with us when you return home.
  • Elsie was devastated and just wished she had never seen that letter in the first place. Now there was so much pressure for her to return to the castle and rule the kingdom when her birth parents pass on.
  • When Oliver and Elsie returned to Snowshill, Elsie ran into the forest as fast as she could to escape Oliver. Here she sat crying under a tree when Oliver found her.
  • Elsie got up, surprised by Oliver's words but agreed to return home and speak to Florence. Oliver, Florence, and Elsie all sat down and agreed that there were better ways to handle the situation but that Elsie would stay in Snowshill, occasionally visiting the castle.
  • Florence explains to Elsie that the king and queen wanted to tell Elsie on their own time and that if she had the choice Florence would have told Elsie. Elsie forgives Florence and they plan for life to go back to the way it was.
