Principle #1 Genetic Variation: The genetic variation is that some of the rabbits are brown and some of them are gray.
Principle #2 Overproduction and struggle for existence: The gray and brown rabbits are both having lots of babies and the brown ones survive because they can camouflage with their environment.
Principle #3 Differential survival and reproduction: The rabbits that are brown survive and passed down their traits to their offspring while the gray rabbits are being eaten.
Principle #4 Changes in the gene pool: Over generations, the brown rabbits reproduced and there are more of the Brown rabbits and less of the gray rabbits.
