  • Macduff (brown coat) and Malcolm (black coat) enter looking for a shady place to talk, Malcolm is going to test Macduff's loyalty
  • Malcolm starts to talk continuously about how he is worse than Macbeth and that his sin are greater than all
  • Macduff proclaims "Oh Scotland, Scotland" In sorrow for having a destined king so sinful and untrustworthy.
  • Malcolm explains that he was testing Macduff if he wanted power or the best for Scotland. He decides to trust Macduff and took back all the horrible things he said about himself.
  • The doctor enters explaining people are waiting to be healed from him because of his God-given healing gifts.
  • Ross enters bringing nothing but bad news of Macduff's abandoned wife and children being killed by Macbeth. This enrages and drives Macbeth to fight with the army that is prepared to defeat Macbeth
