Romulus and Remus are twins born of Rhea Silvia who found the city of Rome before Romulus betrays Remus therefore giving its name "Rome."

Amulius steals Romulus and Remus from Rhea Silvia and tries to get rid of them by drowning them in the Tiber river.
Romulus and Remus wash ashore clearly having survived. A she-wolf finds them and nurtures them.
The babies are left by the she-wolf and a shepard named Faustulus stumbles upon them and takes them in as his own.
Romulus and Remus grow up and attack the town of Alba Longa. They win and restore the throne to their grandfather.
Romulus and Remus return to the spot they originally washed a shore to build their own town. However they soon begin arguing over the town's name.
Romulus then kills Remus out of anger and Remus dies. The town and later empire is henceforth named Rome.
