  • It was March 5, 1770, and Tensions were high between the Colonists and the British.
  • The first conflict of the Revolutionary War was about to begin.
  • A crowd had gathered and started to throw snowballs at the British Soldiers because one had not paid for a haircut
  • But one British captain was struck down with a club and he ordered his men to fire
  • The soldiers killed four people and injured many more.
  • This was the Boston Massacre
  • Many colonists used this as proof of Great Britain's tyranny.
