Oedipus, King Polybus isn't your father...
Feeling indifferent about what was said by the old man Oedipus talks with Apollo who says he will kill his father.
After leaving Corinth, Oedipus met with a man who angered him. So, out of anger, he killed all of his servants but one. (HIs dad)
After correctly solving the riddle, Oedipus became the king of Thebes. He then married Jocasta who was once Laius's wife.
Oedipus then meets up with the man that was supposed to kill him by Laius's orders, but find out that he instead gives Oedipus to the messenger.
Oedipus returns to the palace to find Jocasta hanging from a noose. He stabs out his eyeballs so he does not see the results of the prophecy.
