Storyboard Text

  • You aren't my usual Ayah. And this food is disgusting. What happened to my normal Ayah?
  • Mary was just the most contrary little kid ever. She was spoiled because her parents didn't want to hear her or see her. They then forgot about her when every body started dying of cholera. She was only remembered when an officer came by. It was then decided she was going to Misselthwaite Manor in England.
  • Mary Lennox in                                   The Secret Garden
  • I will get you better food, mam.
  • Mary was very intrigued by these stories that Mrs. Medlock, the person who was taking her to Misselthwaite, told her of a hundred mysterious rooms, many od them locked. She didn't like the moor they passed on the train.  When they finnaly arrived at Misselthwaite,  she met Ben Wheatherstaff and his robin. She absolutely LOVED the robin.
  • There are more than 100 rooms at Misselthwaite.
  • Mary got to Misselthwaite Manor. She hated it and was as contrary as ever. She met Ben Weatherstaff and his robin. Ben said that the robin liked her.
  • I don't really like Martha, my new servant. She is very unhelpful and has a weird accent.
  • Ben's robin red breast showed Mary a key to the mysterious garden on the property which had been locked up for over a decade! She opened the door, and loved it! Mary LOVED the garden. It was like her sanctuary to get away from he world which she hated.
  • Wow! Definitetly coming back here again!
  • She brought her new friend Dickon the very next day to start growing the garden. They were in there all day. They loved it, and it was a place to call their own. They thought it was creepy that the garden looked so neat and tidy.
  • Mary and Dickon's Garden
  • After her adventures in the garden, Mary heard crying in the corridor, so she went to investigate. Eventually, she found out where the crying was coming from. It was Colin, who was the son of Mr. Craven, the owner of the Manor. Colin liked Mary's company because he was amazed by India and Mary's long journey here. When Mary told Martha of Colin, Martha was scared that she would be fired. Mary was starting to notice that she was less contrary. She sang Colin to sleep, then left the room.
