Storyboard Text

  • A room in the castle. Macbeth enters.
  • I have not thought about them. But we have an hour to talk about it. If you stick with me when the time comes, there will be something in it for you.
  • I will do as you ask but only with a clear conscience.
  • Oh, Macbeth, I have dreamed about the three witches
  • Well then, rest easy in the meantime.
  • Thanks, sir. You do the same.
  • Banquo exits. Macbeth calls in a servant
  • Go and tell your mistress to strike the bell when my drink is ready. Get yourself to bed.
  • Servant exits. Macbeth heads for King Duncan's room.
  • Is this a dagger I see in front of me? Come, let me hold you. Or are you just a hallucination from my fevered brain?
  • You’re leading me toward the place I was going already, and I was planning to use a weapon just like you. There’s no dagger here. It’s the murder I’m about to do that’s making me think I see one.
  • I’m going now. The murder is as good as done. Don’t listen to the bell, Duncan, because it summons you either to heaven or to hell.
  • DING!
  • Ding
