I have to show six instances to Show grace in the first 5 chapters of the book
This shows grace because Scout is obviously very very upset with Walter for giving her a bad impression with the teacher and she has reason to be upset and beat him up... Jem is giving grace to walter by telling Scout to stop
"You're bigger'n he is...Let him go"
In this scene we see boo Radley going back inside his house after placing gum inside of the tree he is hoping to give grace to Scout or Jem because he knows that they go by there every day after school and they definitely do not deserve it because they help spread rumors about the Radleys and they think he eats cats.
Here we see Scout noticing the two peices of Wrigleys double mint gum that she will take advantage of, but for all she knows that gum could belong to a squirrel. She does not know who put the gum there
When Walter got to the Finch household he sat down and started talking to Atticus And Atticus responded by speaking as if he was a adult and equal
Back on the farm I would have to figure out how to grow crops without to many recources cause we ain't got a whole lot
"Atticus greeted walter and began a discussion about crops neither Jem nor I could follow"
The book doesn't exactly say that the person who fixed the pants is boo Radley but that's who i think it. Boo Raldey is giving grace to Jem by fixing his pants because Jem was sneaking around in the Radley's back yard and deserved his pants getting ripped up.
Maybe if I fix his pants he will be my friend?
This is Jem sneaking back into the Radley yard later that night in an attempt to retrieve his pants, however he doesnt know who fixed his pants and laid them on the fence for him
