  • Hello everyone. Welcome to the Lab! Today we will be talking about DNA!
  • DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is composed of nucleotides arranged in a double helix. These are subunits of DNA composed of a deoxyribose sugar, phosphate, and a nitrogen base.
  • The first step in DNA replication is to use the double helix structure of the DNA molecule.
  • The main role of DNA in the cell is the long-term storage of information. It is often compared to a blueprint, since it contains the instructions to construct other components of the cell.
  • The last step of the DNA replication is termination. This process happens when the DNA polymerase reaches to an end of the strands.
  • Well that's it kid's . I hope you guys learned something new!
