On Maple Street, Somewhere in America, we are introduced to the residence who are talking with eachother, riding bikes, etc. Suddenly, a meteor-like light streaks across the sky and all of the electricity goes out on the street
Tommy, a young boy, tells a story about a comic that he read about how aliens would come down and there are aliens living among them. People start blaming each other. Pete Van Horn decides to go off to check on the neighborhood over.
Nobody's car is starting except Les Goodman's car. People started to gang up on him because he is the only one who's car is starting. He got scared and started to back up in a corner.
Charlie sees a silhouette in the distance and gets scared and grabs a shotgun. He shoots it and hits the the silhouette.
It turns out that that figure was Pete Van Horn. People start blaming Charlie and Charlie goes to his house. Charlie says that he knows who it is. He says that the alien is Tommy. Tommy's mom is in disbelief and tries to protect him from the crowd. Then, suddenly, people's lights start going on.
Everybody goes crazy, breaking each other's windows and blaming each other. There are two aliens talking about how that maple street isn't any different that any other maple street. THE END
