Storyboard Text

  • The beginning of the water cycle starts with evaporation. Water is converted from liquid state to a gaseous state.
  • STEP 1: EVAPORATION
  • STEP 2: CONDENSATION
  • The second step of the water cycle is condensation. When water is turning vapor into liquid or gas.
  • The third step in the water cycle is precipitation. When water falls it can fall as either: snow, hail, sleet, or rain.
  • STEP 3: PRECIPITATION
  • Step 4: INFILTRATION
  • The fourth step of the water cycle is infiltration. When water goes into the soil. It can be mesausred by inches per hour or milimiters per hour.
  • The fifth step of the water cycle is runoff. When water flows over the land by a stream or river. 
  • Step 5: RUNOFF
  • Step 6: COLLECTION
  • The sixth step of the water cycle is collection. When water falls down from the clouds it can go to any streams, rivers, oceans, etc..
