  • Harriet was a little weasel, who lived in a field by a lake. She hunted for mice and voles, and in the evening she read by the fire.
  • Until her home was slated to become a parking lot.
  • Leaving her with nothing.
  • I know what I have to do! I need to stand up for my rights! I'm going to write a bill and take it to Congress! 
  • and she did, frightening many of the members of congress when she entered. Evidentally they weren't used to animals in the building.
  • She introduced her bill in the Senate, where it was sponsored and sent to the Small Mammal Concerns Committee. 
  • Her bill was considered in the committee, who ammended it to protect land belonging to all small mammals, not just weasels.
