  • The brothers had been requested by Khan to bring 100 priests. However, they could only get two, and they left when they saw the danger ahead. Marco stayed with them and had some close calls with danger himself.
  • Just a little further!
  • It looks dangerous...
  • Yeah, no way. 
  • They traveled far, and Marco observed and kept everything. He wrote in a book that is now famous today. There is a lot of important knowledge in his book. Some don't think he traveled and traded all the way to China, but his knowledge was very hard to disagree with.  
  • One second...
  • Off to Khan!
  • Khan was impressed by Marco Polo. He mastered four languages and had great merchant abilities. He was promoted many times, and was a trusted and dependable person. Marco is famous for traveling and trading, just like the Vikings. When Christopher Columbus set sail on his voyage, he brought a copy of Marco Polo's book. 
  • Here's the book I've been working on.

  • Episode Three - Columbian Exchange

  • In 1492, Christopher Columbus  finally got the money he needed for his voyage to explore the world. 
  • I come in peace. Show me your ways!
  • Columbus landed in North America. He spoke to the Native Americans and began new trading routes. Many foods, animals, and goods could now be traded between the worlds. He was a hero!
  • Yes, I discovered it, all in a day's work. 
  • Columbus was a great traveler and trader. like the other historical people. However, the Native Americans died off very rapidly due to disease brought over by Columbus and his crew. He also took all the credit for the new land...
