the evil assumption that all negroes lie, that all negroes
....Which, gentlemen,we know in it's self a lie as black as tom Robinson skin.
thomas Jefferson said once that all men are created equal.
Atticus was thinking while he was talking he was scared of what would happen to tom if he was "Guilty" but he new even if he was going to die he would have a better time up there where color of skin didn't matter
atticus was surprissed about what we said about the lie but it was a good comeback as he thought he was playing back memories of the trial trying to come up with something else something..inspirational that peopleshould listen to.
atticus knew he ended in a good note but the fate was in the jury's hands they were the one to make the decision which was hard because they were all white and the nerve they had to make someone guilty just for their skin color.
