Jem:when i went back they were folded across the fence...like they were expectin' me
Don't take it Jem, This is somebody's hidin' places
I don't think so, Scout
At the end of chapter 6 Jem returned to the Radley's house to get his pants. and when he returned he hasn't spoke for a week.
The following week the knot-hole yielded a tarnished medal. Jem showed it to Atticus, who said it was a spelling medal, that before we were born the Maycomb County schools had spelling contests and awarded medals to the winners.
one day when we were walking out of school Jem said he had to tell Scout something then he told her that when he went to get the pants the were folded for he nice and neatly and it didn't have a rip anymore.
“Scout!” “Don’t you cry, now, Scout… don’t cry now, don’t you worry-”
Scout and Jem Found the hole with thing inside of it but Scout said to give it a few days if it is still there to grab it because no one came back for it it.
“Do you itch, Jem?” I asked as politely as I could. He did not answer. “Come on in, Jem,” I said.
one day they found the hole and there was a medal in and they took it and ask what kind of pocket watch it was to there father.
after a few day they found out that someone filled in the pot hole with cement and they cant get there treasures anymore.
when they were at there house he was talking about the tree and the dad said about the tree might be dying and that he doesn't know much about trees
