  • Search For Truth, and Path to Self Denial
  • Ommmmmm
  • Siddhartha was raised in wealth and luxury, without experiencing pain or sadness.  The prince road out of the palace with guards in front of him blocking anyone sad or poor. He was married had a child, and had anything a person could want.
  • Great Enlightenment
  • At 29 years, Siddhartha went out without guards and saw four people. An old man with a stick, a man shrunken by disease, a man who died , and a nothing-worth holy man. This is one of the first times that Siddhartha sees pain and sadness. This has changed Siddhartha to be a religious leader.
  • Purpose in Life
  • The once protected prince who thought he had everything he wanted was now searching for the truth of his life, suffering, and death. Instead of getting fed by servants he was now living on the food that people dropped in his bowl ( only possession) . He used to sleep on a lovely bed in a palace and soon was sleeping in a tree or cave on the ground.
  • Siddhartha meditated under the Bohdi Tree for 49 days. He understood the cycle of death, rebirth, and birth. Doing this he achieved a state of perfect wisdom; or enlightenment and became the famous... Buddha.
  • Buddhas purpose in life was to begin teaching the Four Noble Truths to others in order to help them achieve transcendent happiness and peace of mind. Buddha realized that he was meant to be a religious leader instead of a ruler/king. Doing this, Buddha went through the knowledge which is today called Buddhism.
