I really want to start focusing a little more on myself and get healthier and stronger! I think it's time I try going to the gym!
Man it sure has been a long time since I've been in a gym. I'm a little nervous. I really don't know what I should do or how to start. Maybe I should try lifting some weights.
I don't think this is right. This is way too heavy for me I think I might hurt myself if I try lifting this. How do I workout properly?
Adam, a Queen's University student wants to start working out and getting healthier. He decided to go the ARC to workout and try and get into shape.
Everyone knows what they are doing but me. I'm so overwhelmed and confused.
Adam hasn't been to a gym in years and cannot remember how to use the equipment. He has very little experience when it comes to working out.
I don't know what to do and I don't want to be here. There are no instructions and I don't have a clue on what to do!
Adam attempts to use the equipment and machines but is very unsure of what to do.
I guess the gym isn't for me and I should just go home. It's way too intimidating and I don't know how to create a workout.
Adam begins to get frustrated and upset. He is intimidated by the regular gym goers who seem to know what they are doing. Adam feels lost.
Adam's motivation decreases and he doesn't feel comfortable using the equipment or being in the gym.
Adam gives up completely and goes home very upset and depleted.
