  • Ah weraday. He's dead, he's dead, he's dead! We are undone, lady, we are undone. Alack the day, he's gone, he's killed, he's dead.

  • Act 3, Scene 3
  • Here from Verona art thou banished. Be patient, for the world is broad and wide.
  • In this scene, Tybalt asks Romeo to fight, but instead, he fights with Mercutio. Romeo tries to stop them, but Tybalt stabs Mercutio, resulting in his death. Because of this, Romeo is furious and kills Tybalt.
  • Act 3, Scene 4
  • O'Thursday let it be.-- O'Thursday, tell her, she shall be married to this noble earl.
  • In this scene, the nurse comes to inform Juliet of the death of her cousin, Tybalt. She also tells Juliet that his killer is Romeo, Juliet's husband. Although her cousin died, she is more upset because Romeo has been banished from Verona.
  • Act 3, Scene 5
  • Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch! I tell thee what: get thee to church o' Thursday, Or never after look me in the face.
  • In this scene, Romeo hides in Friar Lawrence's church, where he finds out he's been banned from Verona. Later, Juliet's nurse arrives, and tells Romeo Juliet is waiting for him, and is not upset with him.
  • In this scene, Capulet is speaking to Paris, the man he wants Juliet to marry. They decide that he and Juliet will get married that upcoming Thursday. However, he does not ask Juliet how she feels about this, and tells Lady Capulet to tell her. Meanwhile, Romeo spends the night with Juliet.
  • In this scene, Juliet's parents told her that she will marry Paris, not knowing that she is already married to Romeo, and when she tells them no, they get angry at her and tell her if she doesn't marry Paris, she won't be welcome in their home. She then goes to Friar Lawrence to ask him for advice.
