  • Interviewer: During the years you lived in the annex, how did you and others live together?
  • Anne: We were assigned to a location in the annex where we would sleep.
  • Interviewer: Was there any moment or moments in which you or the other members started to go against each other?
  • Anne: Once, Mr. Van Daan stole extra food for himself and mother wanted the Van Daans to leave the annex
  • Interviewer: Who did you get along with the most?
  • Anne: (blushing) I got along with Peter the most. 
  • Interviewer: Who did you get along with the least?
  • Anne: I did not get along with Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan as much or mother.
  • Interviewer: How was your relationship with?
  • Anne: He would always let me into his room when I needed to talk to someone.
  • Interviewer: Did you wanted to go outside to get fresh air or anything?
  • Anne: When we were in the annex I ran outside but father pulled me in and told me that we could not go outside since it was not safe.
