Every object must remain at rest or in a straight line unless a external force acts upon it
Law Number One
Law of Inertia
All forces are not balanced. The amount of acceleration for an object , is depended on the mass of the object
Law Number Two
Law of Action
Every force in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction
Law Number Three
Law of Motion
The blue arrow is showing thrust, which is the external force, acting upon the object, which is the rocket .
The bigger the arrow the stronger the force. The smaller the arrow the weaker the force.
When there is no blue arrow , the red arrow, represents the rocket being pulled down to the point were it is at rest or in a straight line.
The red arrow means gravity . The blue arrow means thrust.
The left rocket takes less thrust to go up because it is a smaller rocket, and the rocket to the right takes more thrust because its a bigger rocket and needs more thrust to go up.
There is always gravity acting upon us, but in this example the opposite reaction would be thrust coming out from the bottom of the rocket .
