Storyboard Text

  • I AM THE MOST PURE AND I WILL SACRIFICE THE MOST WICKED!
  •  Out of many, there was only one pure-hearted being.  Her kindness was godlike.  Due to disappointment in the wrath of the people in her village, she decided to leave.  She did not leave unnoticed.  Everyone was aware of her kind soul.
  • What a gullible society...
  • Many years later, a civilization was formed.  An old lady came by the village, stating she knew magic.  She told the people she would reward the purest person with wealth and goods if they had sacrificed the most wicked person living in the village.  The people were confused, but feeling greedy.
  • If you were truly pure, you would not sacrifice another life, even a wicked one.
  • Suddenly, all the population came forward.  And each one of the people were lying.  Of course, this was what the lady expected.
  • The old lady acted confused.  She said she did not know who was telling the truth, so she had to take them to the meadow to reveal the truth.
  • The old lady planted their feet to the ground with roots as a punishment.  She told them that being stuck to the ground should give them enough time to think, and not just about themselves. The bark spread to the rest of them, beginning their long entrapment.
  • Just as their faces were absorbed by bark, the old lady shape-shifted into her natural form.  She was the one and only pure-hearted in the land for quite some time to come.  For this, the gods granted her eternal life and magic to teach the future people, as she did with these citizens.  Thus, many forests had been born and grown over time.
