Storyboard Text

  • La, la, la, I am the best.
  • Be careful girl, there is no better craftswoman than the goddess Athenè.
  • Who does she think I am? Hmp!
  • Excuse me, but do you know who your talking to?
  • Athenè is here! Beware of what you have done. You will feel the wrath of a goddess.
  • Oh, so Athenè was disguised watching.
  • Well, I challenge you to a weaving challenge!
  • Pride negatively affects Arachne and Athenè by the bold words and insults given. Arachne's rudeness and attitude ticks off the goddess. She was way too overconfident. Her boasting personality didn't help her through this competition. Even though she boasted, she did not fear the goddess.
  • Say that after I win.
  • Get ready to lose Athenè!
  • I hope I win...
  • Athenè who was curious about who is trying to be better than her, disguises herself as an aged woman. She goes down to see what this girl is doing. After going down, Athenè goes down and warns Arachne about her ambitions and pride, " be careful girl, there is no better craftsman than the goddess Athenè."
  • is no more to live for...
  • sunset
  • Arachne, who did no fear Athenè, boasted about her skills and how no one could beat her. From these bold words, Athenè who was ticked off, takes off her disguise and becomes the radiant and beautiful goddess she is. Arachne wasn't scared and challenged Athenè to a weaving contest. Even if she boasted, her hope and pride will help her win, that is what she thought.
  • I look horrible...
  • This is where your pride and boasting gets you to.
  • Athenè accepts her challenge and gets the looms. After preparing for the contest, they started. Arachne, who in favor of mortals or humans, made a tapestry about the weaknesses of the gods and goddesses. Athenè who is in favor of the gods, made a tapestry of how gods have power over the mortals. Fearless Arachne has no idea about what is to come.
  • Athenè, who wasn't patient about the challenge, insulted, did not want the gods and goddesses to be insulted, rips up Arachne's work and destroy's Arachne's hope and pride, along with her life. With life Arachne didn;t want anymore, allows the punishment from the goddess.
  • As punishment, Athenè transforms Arachne into a spider and so and her descendants will weave forever. Also when ever mortals hear about her, they will fear the challenge of a god and a mortal. No one would ever dare to be so bold ad prideful of challenging a god or goddess.
