Jean Baptiste and Charles Darwin were two scientist who were the first to claim thoughts about evolution
Im Charles Dawin
Jean proposed that all elephants had no trunk and that by blowing hard every day it would soon get larger
He also proposed that once the adult elephant with the long trunk has a offspring that offspring will have the same long trunk as the parent
Although both hypothesis were good Jean did not have evidence to support his theory but on the other hand Charles did so Charles' theory was used until today and is called Natural Selection.
Charles Darwin believed that there was always elephants with trunks but there was also elephants with no trunk or a little trunk. The elephants with the larger trunks had a better advantage and survived while the no trunks became extinct.
