  • We are first introduced to the the old man. We found out that the narrator was planning on to kill the old man because his eye was bothering the narrator. He claims that the old man is the eye of the vulture's , and he was vexed by it. Everyday for a week straight at 12, he would enter the old man's room to check on his eye, so he would be able to kill it.
