About another four thousand miles. Along the way, we will get silk and glassware from the Romans.

Well, you would have to trade for it. One of the best things to trade would be the glass from the Romans and the spices from the Indians.
What food was traded on the Silk Road??
Spices were the main good that Indians traded for silk and glassware, the other foods that were traded for goods were carrots and pomegranates.
What kind of weapons would be traded on the Silk Road??
Some of the weapons that were traded were mainy small swords and spearheads!
How was culture spread on the silk road??
Culture was spread by people making things that related to their culture then other people spreading it to other countries and then they learned about their culture.
