  • Now I cross or bread these homozygous, same alleles, rounded yellow and green wrinkled peas together, so I can see if two traits are inherited at the same time.

  • Weird, all of these peas have the same yellow rounded phenotype as one, but they're heterozygous. Don't they have different genotypes?

  • Aha! The peas have changed! This means the green and wrinkled traits are recessive and the yellow and round ones are dominant! Also, the traits are inherited independently.
