Storyboard Text

  • Let's go out in the woods, there are protozoa everywhere. The same thing with algae.Through you can differentiate them instantly based on their looks or stucture, both organisms are very similar to each other since they belong to the same kingdom. Algae and protozoa are both composed of eukaryotic cells. Both have a nucleus, and they can reproduce by means of a mitotic cell division. Ok! Let's go inside the coliseum.
  • The multicellular examples of algae are seaweeds while amoebas are the most familliar examples of protozoa.Amoebas can cause human diseases like malaria.
  • That is what protists are and what to expect from that kingdom. Next time you go walking start to look around and think about how protists are everywhere.Thank you for visiting the National Science Coliseum See you next time.
