Romulus and Remus were born in the kingdom of Alba Longa from the king´s daughter Rhea Silvia.
Romulus and Remus' Conflict
The king´s evil brother Amulius cursed Rhea Silvia to become a priestess of the goddess Vesta and was not able to ave children but still she did, and Amulius set Romulus and Remus down a river to drown them.
The Building of Rome
Once the two little babies made it down the river a she-wolf found them and took them into her care.
Romulus and Remus had a big fight over where they wanted to place their city and then Romulus ended up murdering his brother Remus in the conflict.
Once Romulus won the fight it was finalized, and he was going to build his city not on the riversides.
Rome was founded on April 21st, 753 B.C.E. The founder was none other than Romulus and he lived a happy life as the king of Rome.
