King Henry viii was born in 1491 on the 28th of June in the Palace of Placentia, London. He was apart of the Catholic Church, however, he wanted to divorce his wife because she did not produce a male heir.
King Henry viii split from the Catholic Church in 1532, he then created the Church of England and was declared the ruler of the new church in 1534.
King Henry viii divorced his wife under the new rules of the Church of England, then marries Anne Boleyn hoping to have a son.
King Henry viii married four other wives and only received one son with Jane Seymour. They then named his only son Edward vi who was born on the 6th of July, 1537.
Edward vi was crowned on the 20th of February at the age of nine. He ruled England and Ireland until the 6th of July 1553. Edward was England's first monarch to be raised as a Protestant.
Edward the sixth was then overthrown by Mary in 1553 who killed many people, therefore, she gained the name as Bloody Mary. Then on the 17th of November Mary was overthrown by her half-sister Elizabeth 1 who then strengthened and reformed the Church of England.
