  • Algal and Seaweed blooms (When algae forms in clumps on surface
  • Algal blooms block sunlight from the waterway
  • Plants begin to die because they cannot carry out photosynthesis
  • Dead plants are decomposed by cater and fungi (Produces Carbon Dioxide, reduces Oxygen)
  • No Oxygen available so animals die As they are decomposed, less Oxygen is available
