  • In this scene, Juliet is awaiting for Romeo to come to her balcony at nightfall. She continuously compliments Romeo and his features. She even states how she wants Romeo to die.
  • In this scene, Friar Laurence states that Romeo can visit Juliet for the night, but must immediately flee away from Verona before the Prince can find him. Friar Laurence says there will soon be a time for them to get married and have Romeo innocent.
