At the age 13 Joan, a peasant girl saw the light from god and started hearing voices and sometimes having visions during her sleep that told her to save France and seek out Charles, the dauphin of the throne.
What? God, you need me to save France?
Joan traveled to Charles at age 17 disguised as a boy and told him that she was sent by god to save France. At first he did not believe her but when he finally did, she was given soldiers to go with her to Orleans.
Joan found a sword near a church and a banner she had made and went off to battle. She battled with great bravery and was even shot with a arrow which she pulled out and began fighting again.

After the victory at France Charles was crowned during the ceremony Joan was allowed to stand next to him, although she was captured by the enemy soon after.and unfortunately Charles made no effort to rescue her.
Joan was put on trial for witchcraft and spreading false rumors. She was accused of many other things but her answers during the trail inspired some of the witnesses. In the end she confessed but only for her life, even though she was still to be punished by death.

Joan sadly died from burning at the stake. She did die but she died a legend and she was known for saving France with bravery which she also, gave to England. Charles remained king for 40 more years and drove the England from France and united France finally.
